Therapeutic Strawberry Quartz is a very rare type of Quartz and is found in a few parts of the world The material we offer in our necklaces was found in Kazakhstan, one of the former Soviet republics. Kazakhstan is home to some of the most renowned deposits of high-quality Strawberry Quartz. The deposits are primarily located in the Altai Mountains and Karakol Valley, where the stone is mined from hydrothermal veins rich in Hematite and other minerals. Kazakhstani Strawberry Quartz is particularly prized for its clarity and the intensity of its red or pink inclusions, often creating striking, translucent specimens. The color of this stone varies from pale pink to pink, and it has shining and sparkling needles inside.
The name “strawberry quartz” or "cherry quartz" is also used by people who sell artificial glass of pink color with some strawberry-red inclusions. Please be aware of imitations when looking for sources of this gem and keep in mind that real strawberry quartz is a very rare and unique stone.
